"When you're a songwriter, you write from your perspective. I'm a mother with
two sons, 21 and 17. My youngest is talking about enlisting after he graduates
from high school. If that were his choice, I would be very proud of him but as
his mother, I'd be lying if I didn't say that it terrifies me. Regardless of
where you stand on current events......for every soldier on the field, there is
a mother somewhere .........makes you wonder.....if countries were run by
mothers, maybe there would be no wars at all."
